JEEVAN NATHAN

Executive Producer / Creative Director

Majoring in 16 & 35mm Film and Screenwriting, Jeevan graduated from Singapore’s Film, Sound & Video (Ngee Ann Polytechnic, 1999) and went on to further his Directing craft in New York Film Academy (California campus, 2002/03). Upon returning to Singapore, he brought his film style to the digital era.

In his 17 years of working in the media industry since, Jeevan has created, written and developed a broad range of productions. He has worked on many genres and formats including television dramas (for Ch5, CNA, Suria, Okto, AFC, CI network), short films, documentaries, docudramas, infotainment, video installations, music videos and various arts-design videos.

 

Jeevan has garnered two awards in MDA’s national screenwriting competitions in 2005/06; was a recipient of Creative Circle Awards for ads directed and produced in 2006/07. His short films and music videos have travelled to film festivals from Singapore, to Indonesia, Australia, Argentina and Vancouver. Five of his original series (Tina’s Catering, Super4orce, Avenue 13, Avenue 14, The Devouring) have been nominated for local and regional awards. And he was the recipient of Best Director for a Drama Series at the 24th Asian Television Awards.

As founder of creative production company, Monochromatic Pictures, Jeevan also serves as an independent filmmaker and a creative director to other companies. He has taught and given talks at various organisations like Bukit View Secondary School, Singapore Polytechnic, Temasek Polytechnic, Glasgow School of Design, BBH DigitasLBi.

AUDREY ANTHONEY

Executive Producer / Business Manager

Audrey graduated Film, Sound & Video (Ngee Ann Polytechnic, 1999) and RMIT (Melbourne 2002/03) majoring in Television Studies and Mass Communications. 

 

Her 20 years in Singapore’s media industry has seen her involved in various roles from casting, assistant directing to producing. Audrey had worked on several milestone long form series (now on Netflix, MediaCorp’s Growing Up, Phua Chu Kang and their first film series Money) before bringing her talents to the commercial world. Focusing on her passion for producing she went on to work on video and photography campaigns for notable clients (SIA, VISA, Audi, Honda, AIA Metro, Tangs, STB, SAF) in her agency years.

 

As Executive Producer and partner at Monochromatic Pictures, Audrey supervises all in-house productions from narrative and factual content (for Ch5, CNA, Suria, okto, AFC); to local & regional short form productions (for Government agencies, Ad agencies and global MNC clients). With knowledge of producing and marketing, Audrey has been key in developing the company’s success and their pursuits into digital content; pushing Monochromatic Pictures’ latest digital docu-series close to a million views on Facebook.

SHERMIN TOH

Content Producer

Shermin graduated from NTU's Wee Kim Wee School of Communications, with a focus on broadcast and cinema studies. She studied screenwriting at Elon University, under Paul Castro, the writer of Hollywood feature film August Rush.

 

She is co-creator and the head writer on Avenue 14 series for which she was Nominated for Best Original Screenplay at the Asian Television Awards 2020. She has also worked on scripted genres from youth dramas, musicals and short films at/ such as: Musical World and Suicide Kakis (which won Bronze for the short film category at the 2014 Crowbar awards). On top of writing her own novel, she also brings her craft to the digital platform by contributing to online movie reviews at MovieXclusive.com.

As Monochromatic Pictures’ lead writer, Shermin, works on all scripted content - from 15 second digital ads to one-hour programming - across different genres. She overseas the development of narratives and characters, working closely with the Production and Post teams to push out bold, innovative concepts.

ROSZALI SAMAD

Cinematographer

Rozali is a DOP with extensive experience, obtaining his Degree in Cinematography from ESCAC, a film school in Barcelona. 

 

He has lensed numerous commercials, films and television series locally and internationally over his 20 year experience. He has worked together with companies like Shooting Gallery, Burning Bush films, RedComm Malaysia, Enfiniti Productions KL, Kino I KL and Errecerre Barcelona. And holds a client list that includes HP, Canon, Nikon, Toshiba, Samsung, MTV, Singapore Tourism and Discovery channel, amongst many others. 

 

In Monochromatic Pictures, Roszali has crafted unique looks for Tina’s Catering, Super4orce, Avenue 13, Avenue 14, The Devouring, Happy Place as well as many music videos, digital videos and commercials. Along with screenings and wins at various festivals, his lenswork has got him the nod at the 24th Asian Television Awards for Best Cinematography. 

 

He is inspired by a subtle, dramatic approach to lighting for cinema. He champions cinematography that is organic and manages to push the narrative forward, as evinced in the works done by Roger Deakins and Rodrigo Prieto.

VICTORIA SCULLY

Producer

Victoria graduated valedictorian from Digital Film and Television in Temasek Polytechnic with a Diploma with Merit in 2018.

 

Although fresh out of school, she has already written and directed a handful of short films, one of which, Nina Boboi (commissioned by Toggle) has won a Silver Award for Directing and a Gold Award for Short Film during the 2018 Crowbar Awards. Her short film has also been screened at CANA Film Festival and was awarded a Bronze World Medal at New York Festivals 2019. 

 

She joined Monochromatic Pictures as a junior writer, where her quick
aptitude to learning and love for narratives across formats saw her landing the role of Associate Producer (Content). In that capacity she has worked on fictional narratives - Avenue 14 and Avenue 14: Underworld - from script to screen.

 

She has also worked on crafting narratives with editors on non-fiction content for STB SG Stories documentary series We Will Rise Again (which has garnered close to a million views). With her youthful view of the world, Victoria hopes to bring a fresh perspective to storytelling while expanding her craft in short form writing and creative producing.
