Executive Producer / Creative Director

JEEVAN NATHAN

Majoring in 16 & 35mm Film and Screenwriting, Jeevan graduated from Singapore’s Film, Sound & Video (Ngee Ann Polytechnic, 1999) and went on to further his Directing craft in New York Film Academy (California campus, 2002/03). Upon returning to Singapore, he brought his storytelling style from film to the digital era. 

 

In his 14 years of working in the media industry since, Jeevan has created, written and developed a broad range of productions. He has worked on many genres and formats including television dramas (for Ch5, CNA, Suria, Okto, AFC, CI network), short films, documentaries, docudramas, infotainment, video installations, music videos and various arts-design videos.

 

Jeevan has garnered two awards in MDA’s national screenwriting competitions in 2005/06; was a recipient of Creative Circle Awards for ads directed and produced in 2006/07. His short films and music videos have travelled to film festivals from Singapore, to Indonesia, Australia, Argentina and Vancouver. Three of his original drama series (Tina’s Catering, Super4orce, Avenue 13) have been nominated for local and regional awards. 

 

As founder of creative production company, Monochromatic Pictures, Jeevan also serves as an independent filmmaker and a creative director to other companies. He has taught and given talks at various organisations like Bukit View Secondary School, Singapore Polytechnic, Temasek Polytechnic, Glasgow School of Design, BBH DigitasLBi.

AUDREY ANTHONEY

Audrey graduated Film, Sound & Video (Ngee Ann Polytechnic, 1999) and RMIT (Melbourne 2002/03) majoring in Television Studies and Mass Communications. 

 

Her 16 years in Singapore’s media industry has seen her involved in various roles from casting,  assistant directing to producing. Audrey had worked on several milestone long form series (MediaCorp’s Growing Up, Phua Chu Kang and their first film series Money) before bringing her talents to the commercial world. Focusing on her passion for producing she went on to work on video and photography campaigns for notable clients (SIA, VISA, Audi, Honda, AIA Metro, Tangs, STB, SAF) in her agency years.

 

As Executive Producer and partner at Monochromatic Pictures, Audrey supervises all in-house productions from narrative and factual content (for Ch5, CNA, Suria, okto, AFC); to local & regional short form productions (for Government agencies, Ad agencies and global MNC clients). With knowledge of producing and marketing, Audrey has been key in developing the company’s success and their pursuits into digital content.

SHERMIN TOH

Shermin graduated from NTU's Wee Kim Wee School of Communications, with a focus on broadcast and cinema studies. She studied screenwriting at Elon University, under Paul Castro, the writer of Hollywood feature film August Rush.

 

She has worked on scripted genres from youth dramas, musicals and short films at/such as: Musical World and Suicide Kakis (which won Bronze for the short film category at the 2014 Crowbar awards).  On top of writing her own novel, she also brings her craft to the digital platform by contributing to online movie reviews at MovieXclusive.com. 

 

As Monochromatic Pictures’ content producer and head writer, Shermin, works on all scripted content - from 15 second digital ads to hour-long programming - across different genres. She overseas the development of narratives and characters, working closely with the Production and Post teams to push out bold, innovative concepts.

LHENINA BONILLA

Lhenina graduated Digital Film & Television from Temasek Polytechnic in 2017 with a diploma with merit. 

  

She worked on several short films and TV projects such as Gallant (which was commissioned by Singapore Discovery Centre and was later on nominated for Best Student Film at New York Festivals) and several episodes of the factual series, On The Red Dot. 

 

She began her journey in Monochromatic Pictures as an intern and later joined full time to produce creative content and work closely with the various teams in the company. 

A young woman with an old soul for film and music, Lhenina fit right in with the colourful and creative culture at Monochromatic Pictures. She has since overseen several short form productions and was Assistant Producer on the Avenue 14 series as well as being Lead Producer on the transmedia 360VR series - Avenue 14: Underworld.  

 

She brings her stripling personality and contributes to any roles, be it from pre-production to post-production.

Production Manager

ADELINE TEO

Adeline is a jack of many trades, and dabbling in various industries before diving into the industry of video production, picking up skills like photography and photo retouching, people management and events planning over the years. 

 

As a Production Manager in Monochromatic Pictures, Adeline plans and co-ordinates short forms from photography shoots in India, Thailand, Malaysia to corporate videos, and works hand in hand with her team and clients to ensure impeccable quality deliverables.

 

She prides herself with every task to be efficient, innovative and thoughtful, She also believes in taking the extra mile to make the working experience enjoyable for everyone. 

 

Travelling for work to different parts of the globe, and immersing herself in their culture inspires her to view the world as a local. Honing her skills as a producer, Adeline aims to produce documentaries abroad, bringing the world closer to the community she lives in.

Associate Producer  - Design

CAYLEE PHANG

Caylee graduated from SIT-GSA Communication Design in 2017 with a Bachelor of Arts Degree with Honours, studied various mixed media which includes Film and Media, Photography, Graphic Design and Illustration. On top of that, she has also studied Marketing as her base foundation. She believes that being versatile is key.

 

She has worked on various short form projects such as producing creative content for wedding events, short documentary films about Pulau Ubin - The Insider’s Story (which was featured at the 2016 New Dreams at the Kelvin Gallery in UK). On top of the short forms, she has an eye for visual art and loves exploring and experimenting mixed media from creating abstract art, drawing, sculpturing to graphic design. She loves creating new ideas and is always a little too imaginative, curious about human psychology and strongly believes in her feelings, sixth sense and her knowledge in horoscopes.

 

As Monochromatic Pictures’ associate producer - design, Caylee, works on the design aspects of the content. She squeezes out creative juices and oversees the visual design for storytelling, working closely with the rest of the production team to produce fresh visual concepts and at the same time, breaking new ground in unconventional storytelling.

VICTORIA SCULLY

Victoria graduated valedictorian from Digital Film and Television in Temasek Polytechnic with a Diploma with Merit in 2018.

 

Although fresh out of school, she has already written and directed a handful of short films, one of which, Nina Boboi (commissioned by Toggle) has won a Silver Award for Directing and a Gold Award for Short Film during the 2018 Crowbar Awards. Her short film has also been screened at CANA Film Festival and was awarded a Bronze World Medal at New York Festivals 2019. 

 

She joined Monochromatic Pictures as a junior writer, where her quick aptitude to learning and love for narratives across formats saw her landing the role of Associate Producer (Content). In that capacity she has worked on fictional narratives - Avenue 14 and Avenue 14: Underworld - from script to screen. With her youthful view of the world, Victoria hopes to bring a fresh perspective to storytelling while honing her craft in short form writing and creative producing.
